20. EMC / Technical Description

The Symphony
®
breast pump needs special precautions regarding EMC (Electromagnetic
compatibility) and needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC information
provided in these instructions for use.
Wireless communications equipment such as wireless home network devices, mobile
phones, cordless telephones and their base stations and walkie-talkies can affect the
Symphony electric breast pump and should be kept at least a distance 1.0 m away from the
equipment.

The Symphony electric breast pump is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment
specified below. The customer or the user of the Symphony electric breast pump should assure
that it is used in such an environment.

Warning
Warning – The Symphony electric breast pump should not be used adjacent to or stacked with

Electromagnetic environment – guidance
The Symphony electric breast pump uses RF
energy only for its internal function. Therefore,
Group 1
its RF emissions are very low and are not likely
to cause any interference in nearby electronic
equipment.
Class B
The Symphony electric breast pump is suitable
Class A
for use in all establishments, including domestic
establishments and those directly connected to
the public low-voltage power supply network that
supplies buildings used for domestic purposes.
