13. EMC / Technical description

The Symphony breastpump needs special precautions regarding EMC (Electromag-
netic compatibility) and needs to be installed and put into service according to the
EMC information provided in these instructions for use.
Wireless communications equipment such as wireless home network devices, mobile
phones, cordless telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies can affect the
electric breastpump Symphony and should be kept at least a distance 1.0 m away
from the equipment.

The electric breastpump Symphony is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment
specified below. The customer or the user of the electric breastpump Symphony should assure
that it is used in such an environment.

Warning – The electric breastpump Symphony should not be used adjacent to

the electric breastpump Symphony should be observed to verify normal operation
in the configuration in which it will be used.

The electric breastpump Symphony uses RF
energy only for its internal function. Therefore,
Group 1
its RF emissions are very low and are not likely
to cause any interference in nearby electronic
equipment.
Class B
The electric breastpump Symphony is suitable
for use in all establishments, including domestic
Class A
establishments and those directly connected to
the public low-voltage power supply network that
supplies buildings used for domestic purposes.
