16. Do not operate the device when empty.
17. Route the power cable so that it doesn't overhang and cannot be tripped over or
become caught on anything.
18. Keep the appliance and the cable away from hotplates, hobs and burners.
19. Unplug the appliance when not in use and allow to cool down fully before
cleaning or moving.
20. Unplug the appliance before attaching or removing parts or accessories.
21. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than those outlined in these
instructions.
22. This appliance should not be used with an external timer or with a remote control
system.
23. The appliance must only be connected to an earthed power socket.
24. Do not use the appliance if it is dropped or damaged or if it malfunctions or does
not work properly.
25. It is recommended that the power cable be regularly inspected to detect any trace
of possible damage, and the appliance should not be used if the cable is damaged.
26. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their after-
sales service or a manufacturer-approved technician to avoid any danger.
Refer to the "care & maintenance" section and clean the appliance and accessories
thoroughly before first use in order to remove any residues left behind by the
manufacturing process.
Do not immerse the motor unit (F) or the stainless steel bowl (E) in water or any other
liquid.
Do not put the motor unit (F) or stainless steel bowl (E) in the dishwasher.
USING THE PRODUCT
Choose the appropriate accessory for the recipe in question.
Soups and compotes: blades (D) and stirrer (C)
Sauces, creams, compotes and preserves:'blender' tool (K)
Steam cooking: basket steamer
Attaching the cover (B) to the stainless steel bowl (E)
The cover (B) must always be attached to the stainless steel bowl (E).
A security system is triggered when the cover is not attached or is incorrectly attached
to the bowl.
Place the glass cover (B) onto the bowl as described below:
1. Attach the fastening catch (B1) to the edge of the stainless steel bowl (E). (Image 1)
2. Lower the glass cover (B) onto the stainless steel bowl (E). The cover's closing system
(B2) must be positioned to the right of the bowl handle. (Image 2)
