4.6. fitting the end limit brackets

- For security reasons, install a mechanical end stop for opening and closing.
- For correct operation of the end limit, observe a distance of 30 mm (+ or - 5 mm) between the motor cover and
the end stop bracket. A distance of more than 35 mm can cause the gate to be stuck open or closed. A distance
of less than 25 mm can cause the end limit control spring to break.
- The end limit brackets must be adjusted so that, taking the inertia and variations in temperature into account,
the gate does not press against the mechanical end stops when opening or closing. If this is the case, the cover
could break during the disengagement operation. Owing to seasonal thermal dilation, it is recommended that
this condition be checked in the summer and winter.

[1]. Manually move the gate to the closed position.
[2]. Position a bracket onto the rack so that it activates the
motor end limit contact.
The motor end limit switch must click when it is engaged.
[3]. Screw the bracket to the rack with the 2 M6 bolts supplied.
[4]. Manually move the gate to the open position then repeat
steps 2 and 3 to fit the second bracket to the rack.

4.7. Definitive mounting of the motor

[1]. Check:
- that the setting nuts all come into contact with the base
of the motor,
- the motor is level,
- the gate runs correctly,
- the clearance between the rack and pinion does not vary
significantly over the gate's travel.
[2]. Tighten the nuts on the studs and add 2 M10x80 bolts (not
supplied) in the plugs to make the motor more stable.

4.8. Engaging the motor

[1]. Manually open the gate by 50 cm.
[2]. Manually lock the motor by closing the disengagement
cover and by removing the key from the cylinder.
[3]. Manually move the gate a few centimetres open and
closed until the stop pinion locks.
