3.5.3. starter capacitor (mr/08 relay module)

The MR/08 SR 24.08 relay module present between the two
terminals controls a second starter capacitor (prewired in
the factory). This capacitor makes it possible to increase the
starting torque for the first two seconds each time the motor is
started.

3.5.4. Gate status indicator light (mr/08 relay module)

An indicator light wired to the MR/08 relay module allows
optical signals to be given for the status of the gate (open /
moving).
Using the C-NO terminals in particular (3A 250Vca potential-
free contact) the following indications can be obtained:
- Light on continuously: the gate is open and stopped
- Light flashing slowly: the gate is opening
- Light flashing quickly: the gate is closing

3.5.5. adjustment of motor force

Impact against an obstacle, when opening or closing, is
detected by the encoder system which blocks and reverses the
motion of the gate by approximately 10 cm, when micro switch
1 of SW1 is OFF.
Detection sensitivity is set using the REG potentiometer when
commissioning the motor.
Detection of obstacles is excluded when micro switch 1 of
SW1 is ON. In this case, other safety systems must be used
(for example, safety edge) in accordance with the standards in
force.
This aspect is very important, as the installation
of the automatic function and its operation in
accordance with the standards in force is the
responsibility of the installer.
The large difference in temperature between
summer and winter causes the materials to dilate
differently, including the materials used in the
motors. It is therefore recommended to check
the impact force setting at the start of winter and
summer.
