Check that the oil pumps (if any) operate properly
-
Both are redundant and work alternatively
-
Check their input current and control the oil temperature in the circuit (should be warmer than refrigerant)
11.7
MAINTENANCE
This chapter indicates the maintenance required for the key components.
11.7.1 Filters:
Replacement of the filters after 100hrs of operation
-
Filtering meshes to be checked and cleaned
-
Filter drier cartridges to be changed
-
Suction filter cartridges to be removed
11.7.2 Oil management
The oil separator uses a coalescent filter which must be regularly changed.
Please refer to chapter 6.4.3 and appendix 1.
11.7.3 Oil trap and oil pumps
The oil trap and the oil pumps do not require any specific maintenance.
The check valve function must be checked periodically (during regular maintenance).
11.7.4 Ejectors
The ejector is comparable to a traditional high pressure valve. No specific maintenance is needed.
However, the stepper motor of the ejector can easily be replaced or inspected if needed with no need to open the refrigeration circuit.
Warning: do not forget to close the valves upstream and downstream and to purge this portion of the circuit before opening the ejector.
Around the ejectors, please consider the filters which must be inspected after commissioning.
On the suction side, there is one motorized ball valve per ejector, which does not require any specific maintenance.
11.7.5 CO2 Pump
The CO2 pump does not require any maintenance. Its operation is constantly checked by the unit controller.
This pump is equipped with a filtering mesh on the suction side, which can be accessible when disassembling (unscrewing) the pump.
