A general PSL type pressure switch is provided
Compressor suction Booster stage: PSL at 7 Bar (low limit range for LT compressor )
Suction of transcritical compressors: PSL at 20 bar minimum (low limit range for MT compressor )

STARTING COMPRESSORS
It is preferable that the piping system is equipped with temporary suction filters, knowing that CO2 is an excellent solvent, and those
should be replaced after 24 hours if dirty. If they are clean, remove them completely.
Check the type of voltage and wiring on the name plate of the compressor.
Always refer to the electrical diagram of the electrical box.
Compressors without inverter:
40P motor: direct or part winding connection 400V
40S motor: direct star connection 400V
Compressors with inverter (specific inverter selection for each case):
40P motor: direct connection possible 400V (shielded cables)
40S motor: direct star 400V or direct delta 230V connections possible (shielded cables)
Speed variation range
If the inverter is supplied by Profroid, it is preset from the factory with the right settings protecting the compressor.
Otherwise, please refer to the recommendations of the compressor and inverter manufacturers
Place an ammeter on a phase for compressors not equipped with an inverter.
Check the setting of the compressor protections with the values indicated on the name plate.
Shut the power switch or circuit breaker OFF.
Start the compressor.
The input current rises to a maximum and must very quickly decrease for all compressors not equipped with a frequency
inverter. If not, stop the compressor to check and detect the issue.
Repeat these steps for each compressor.
Check that no suspicious noise comes from the machine.
For compressors equipped with a frequency converter, the inverter ensures the start-up phase and the safety of the compressor
motor (see parameters pre-set in the inverter).
