2.2.5
Oil management
Coalescent oil separator with filter cartridge for the HP side only.
Without oil separator on the LT booster compressors discharge side.
Solenoid valve at the oil separator outlet, controlled by an oil level sensor.
Manual regulating valve to reduce the risks of hammering in the pipes. Its opening degree should be approximately 3 turns ; to be adjusted
depending on the actual operation of the equipment.
Some products use passive oil management system (without oil separator). In such case, please refer to the appropriate user guideline.
2.2.6
Oil balancing line
Detection of low oil level through electronic oil regulator for LT compressors.
Detection of low oil level through electronic oil regulator for MT compressors.
Oil supply through the solenoid valve integrated into the oil regulator.
Oil receiver 14, 20, or 30L with degasing line.
In the case of a rack with Receiver design pressure = Oil receiver design pressure (schematic 1 here below):
The dual pressure relief valve of the liquid receiver also protects the oil receiver.
The degasing line (between both receivers) includes a sealed valve blocked in open position.
During service on the oil circuit, degasing must first be done and the valve mentioned above must be sealed back in open position
before restart.
In the case of a rack with Receiver design pressure < Oil receiver design pressure (example of parallel compression, schematic 2 here
below):
A specific dual pressure relief valve protects the oil receiver due to the presence of the AKVH/P valve on the degasing line.
