8 MAINTENANCE
8.1 RECOMMENDATIONS
Every month should be checked:
Power supply voltage.
Cut-off points for HP / LP safety pressure switches.
The operating pressure and temperature of each compressor.
Pump down cycle if existing.
The operation of the condenser / gas cooler.
Tightening of the compressor fixations.
Oil levels in the compressors.
The level of liquid in the receiver (see section 6.4.2)
Moisture in the circuits (through the sight glass indicator or by oil analysis),
Sealing / no presence of leak on the rack .
Every 6 months in addition to the monthly checks: An oil analysis will be carried out.
If necessary, emptying the circuit and exchanging the filter drier cartridges should be carried out.
Every year in addition to the previous audits:
Replacement or cleaning of the filters (suction, coalescent) and replacement of the filter drier cartridges. Maximum pressure drop on the
individual filters before change:
- Oil Separator: 1 Bar
- Suction filter if installed 0.5 Bar
The instructions or recommendations of the component manufacturers must be respected imperatively and our technical services remain
at your disposal for any information.
9 SHUT DOWN OF THE EQUIPEMENT
Due to the specificity of CO2, if the machine should be shut down, certain special measures must be taken.
Indeed, the operating pressure of the machines as standard allows a maximum pressure of 30 bar during the extended shutdown
phases, in particular on the LT part.
It is strongly advised to recover a maximum quantity of refrigerant from the circuit by storing it in the entire HP side (Gas Cooler,
Liquid vessel and Liquid Line), taking care not to overflow the liquid from the receiver through the MP valves.
Check that the emergency condensing unit, if used (optional), is switched ON to maintain a maximum pressure of 40.5 bar
RESTART OF THE MACHINE AFTER AN EXTENDED STOP
Take the same measures as for the first commissioning.
