THE BY-PASS FUNCTION is to ensure a temporary operation in case of failure / clogging of the separator before servicing it and
to work on the machine while running.

7.3.3 Subcooler: Voluntary shut-off of blocked shut-off valves for maintenance operation or long shut-down.

7.3.4 Liquid receivers
Receiver degasing
Any voluntary or unintentional closure of the blocked valves does not cause the immediate stop of the pressure generator but can lead
to pressure increase inside the liquid receiver and safety valve activation.
In the event of a planned shutdown, the pressure generators should be switched off and the emergency unit (optional) should be
switched on. They can be isolated by the blocked valves of the machine.
Closing the gas cooler return will cause compressor shutdown by HP switch.
Evacuate the liquid charge, before degasing the remaining charge, knowing that below 4.26 Bar the CO2 will solidify.
7.3.5 The suction filters MT and LT can be replaced or cleaned after closing the blocked valves on the headers
and on the suction of the compressors
Closing the valves will cause the compressors to stop by the low pressure switch.
The pressure in this piping section can be lowered by running compressors and the residual refrigerant charge must be evacuated via
the service valves.
Procedure for filter cartridge of the suction filter replacement:
Open the filter body
Remove the filter with its seals
Clean the internal part of the body
Heat the body to avoid trapping moisture inside the body
Reposition the stainless steel mesh and its seals after cleaning
Close the body
Vacuum the relevant circuit portion
Open the valves
7.3.6 Compressors
They are individually equipped with service valves.
The compressors are equipped with their own venting valves.
If the discharge valve is closed inadvertently, the HP pressure switch stops the compressor.
