Printout
At measurement completion, a printed report of the results is automatically activated. If an
additional printout of the most recent measurement is required, press
from the main operation menu. Press OK to confirm.
The following information is always printed in the report:
• Engine speed (RPM trigger value)
• Number of vehicle cylinders
• Vehicle engine type: 2- or 4-stroke
• Measurement date and time
Date format: yyyy-mm-dd
Time format: hh:mm:ss
• Sound measurement results in dB(A): usually 3 values
• Criteria level: maximum allowable noise level
• L or L
Aeq Max
• Test results: Pass/Fail
• 3 lines (maximum) to write additional comments
• Sound level meter's serial number
Optional information that can be printed as well:
• Background noise level in dB(A): if levels are too high
• Compressed air noise level in dB(A)
• Calibration results
