The Controller

Control Key Definitions
There are only four control keys for simplified use of Type 3638 A/B. The keys are used to:
switch between menus and commands, set values, and confirm and cancel selections.
• Up Arrow

• Confirm OK: Confirms the selection shown in the display.
• Cancel/Stop C: Cancels the selection shown in the display and prompts the controller to return
to the previous selection. To stop a measurement in progress, press this key and the controller
will display the main menu.

LED Indicators

In the middle of the controller's front panel, are three LED indicators, which help you to
identify the target RPM. A detailed description of the indicators is given in Chapter 4, "Basic
Operation" on page 23.
