Construction and function

3.1

Magnetic tape design

Max. length: The maximum delivery length of the
magnetic tape is 48 m.
Magnetic tape: The magnetic tape contains a track with
alternating magnetic north and south poles. Some variants
have a second track with reference points.
Carrier film: The carrier film holds and stabilizes the tape.

Cover strip design

The cover strip is used to protect the magnetic tape
mechanically.
The cover strip is included in the scope of delivery for the
BML-M0_-I_ _-A3-... or can be ordered separately as a
roll (accessories).
