Step 2: Install the Masimo SafetyNet Alert App

Download and install the Masimo SafetyNet Alert App
on the smart phone:
Download and install the Masimo SafetyNet Alert App. Follow the on-screen
instructions to install. For more on how to install an app, see the smart phone's
manual.
Note: If the Masimo SafetyNet Alert App requests for the smart phone to share its location, select
OK or Allow. The smart phone location is required for Bluetooth connection.
1. After installation, open the Masimo SafetyNet Alert App and login to the user account
• If you do not have an existing account, select Sign Up. Follow the on-screen
instructions to create a new account and login.
2. The app walks you through the steps to set up Masimo SafetyNet Alert starting with
the Bedside Station.
Note: Make sure your smartphone Bluetooth connection is turned on to connect to
Masimo Sensor. Refer to the smart phone's instructions to change its settings.

Step 3: Masimo SafetyNet Alert System Setup

After the Masimo SafetyNet Alert App is installed and setup, follow the app instructions to set up
your Masimo SafetyNet Alert System:
• Pair the App to the Bedside Station.
• Connect the Bedside Station to the Wi-Fi.
