Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the prob-
lem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the following steps, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device does not
work. The operating
control lamp does not
light up.
The fuse in the elec-
trical distributor (fuse
box) is triggered.
The food has not
been cooked evenly.
During use, an
unpleasant smell is
detected.

Possible cause
The connecting cable is not
connected to the device or
plug socket correctly.
The cooking bowl is not
inserted in the main unit
correctly.
The plug socket is defective. Try another plug socket.
No mains voltage is present. Check the fuse of the electrical

No error can be identifi ed.
Different items of food with
different cooking times have
been prepared at the same

The cooking time set was
too short.
The cooking bowl, the frying

Fix
Slide the connector of the con-
necting cable as far as it will go
into the socket of the device or
into the plug socket.
Correct the fi t of the cooking
bowl. The contacts on the
bottom of the cooking bowl and
its feet must be placed into the
matching openings in the main
unit.
