Sure Sort uses barcodes to determine where to deliver the item. Barcodes are
read using the manual reader or optional tunnel. Sure Sort sends the barcode
to the customer's Warehouse Management System (WMS), which then tells
Sure Sort which bin to deliver the item. Once the iBOT delivers the item, it will
cycle back for another one.
4.1.1. Order of Operation
1. The item is placed on the pacing conveyor belt. Avoid overloading the belt.
Items should be placed about 3" (76 mm) apart from each other.

Handling (inventory items)" on page
by the overheight detector.
2. The barcode is read using the manual reader or optional tunnel.
3. The barcode is sent to the OPEX ELC.
4. The ELC sends the results to the WMS (back-end vendor).
5. The WMS responds to the OPEX ELC with a bin destination.
6. The OPEX ELC tells the OPEX Host where to put the item.
7. The iBOT delivers the item to the desired bin.
8. The OPEX Host tells the OPEX ELC that the item has been delivered.
9. The OPEX ELC sends a confirmation of the location where the item was
delivered.
