The OPEX Sure Sort™ is a sorting system that delivers a wide variety of items
into a compact array of order bin locations in a single pass.
Sure Sort™ employs robotic wireless vehicles known as iBOTs
means of delivery. Delivery bins can be installed on both sides of the stacker
section, reducing the amount of space required.
Sure Sort™ features include:
• Sort locations can be configured in containers with a depth of 4", 7" and 12"
(10.16, 17.78 and 30.48 cm), based on customer requirements.
• Configurable Pack-to-Light (PTL) LED system. For example, it can be
programmed to notify workers when orders are completed or additional
actions are required. Order completion is managed by the Warehouse
Management System (WMS), which informs the controller when to turn on
the lights.
• iBOTs can effectively transport a variety of items up to five pounds. iBOTs
are continuously recharged as they cycle through the load column.
• Items are scanned from eight directions in the optional OPEX Scan Tunnel,
using seven cameras located above the imaging belts and a line scanner
camera located beneath the belts, capturing data from every barcode on
the item/package.
• An optional return conveyor can be used to send bad barcode reads back
to the operator for rescanning.
• The pacing conveyor automatically paces items for optimal delivery.
• Easy integration with existing WMS systems to exchange item status and
data for inventory tracking and order verification by the WMS.
• iBOTs can be added or removed quickly and easily by an Authorized
Employee to provide scalable throughput.
