Lever n.4 fig.2 can be used after the speed has been selected.
4.4.3 For 16 speed models
Select the required speed range using lever n.3 fig.1.
Positions (fig.13)
N = Neutral
L = Creep
V = Fast
Select the speed required with lever n.4 fig.1 in the combinations shown in fig.8.
Lever n.4 fig.2, can be used (see fig.14):
N = Neutral
A = Forward
R = Reverse
Reverse or forward gears must always be engaged with the engine
at minimum Rpm and the wheels stopped.
4.5 STOPPING THE TRACTOR
a) Push the throttle (n.8 fig.2) forward to its minimum setting, release the
accelerator pedal (n.10 fig.1)
b) Depress the clutch pedal (n.1 fig.1)
c) Put the underdrive lever (n.3 fig.1), the gear change lever (n.4 fig.1) and, if the
tractor
has
Pull up the parking brake (n.13 fig.1).
4.6 DIFFERENTIAL LOCK
The tractor has a differential lock on the rear axle controlled by pedal n.7 fig. 1.
When the pedal is released, the differential lock is automatically disengaged.
Only use the differential lock with creep gear ranges and reduce engine
Rpm well ahead of time. Do not use the differential locking going into or in
bends. If the differential does not release, reduce engine Rpm, stop the
tractor and release the differential.
4.7 PTO
See fig. 1
Disengage the clutch by pulling lever n.2 fig.1.
Engage the PTO with lever n.8 fig.1 SYNCHRONISED with the tractor forward
movement speed or separately at 540-750 Rpm (optional at 540-1000 Rpm).
Engage the 540 or 750/1000 Rpm PTO using lever n.9 fig.1
Engage the clutch by releasing lever n.2 fig.1.
