4. Clamping of the workpiece:
Securing of the workpiece sitting on the machine
against twisting by means of a manually operated
clamping device.
5. Protection against tool damage:
When setting the machine for cutting oblique tenons
the tool will be returned to starting position by
means of automatic correction and a collision with
the workpiece will thus be avoided.
6. Setting up:
Tooling operation for the control of the workpiece
feed rate to be selected by means of the mode
select switch is only possible with stationary cut-
ting tool. The adjustment of the cutting assembly in
each direction is then only possible by means of
touch control.
7. Chip removal:
The chips produced are directed through the instal-
led chip guiding channel either to 2 ejection shafts
or to 2 hose connectors.
8. Silencing:
The almost circular shape of the cutting tool and
the closed housing reduce the noise emission. The
duration of the emission is limited by the automatic
stopping of the tool at the end of the operating cycle.
9. Electric safety:
The electrical equipment of the machine corres-
ponds to the European standard EN 60204-1 and is
interference-proof against electromagnetic fields.
Radiation of electromagnetic and interfering im-
pulses does not take place.
10. Protection against laser radiation
The integrated laser corresponds to class 2 and
thus, constitutes no risk to the human eye in case
of short-time exposure due to the eye closing reflex
(look in the beam up to 0.25 s).
The safety devices described in this ma-
nual are essential prerequisites of safe
machine operation. They must not be re-
moved or put out of action.
