2. Intended use
The filters are designed to filter drinking water and
process water. They protect the water pipes and any
connected aquiferous system components against
malfunctions and corrosion caused by foreign par-
ticles such as rust, swarf, sand, hemp, etc.
The filters cannot be used with chemically-treated
circulating water, process water or cooling water for
flow cooling.
If the water contains coarse particles of dirt, a coar-
se dirt separator must be connected upstream.
The filters are not suitable for oils, fats, solvents,
soaps and other lubricating substances. Nor are
they suitable for separating water-soluble substan-
ces.
Important: system installations and essential modifi-
cations should only be carried out by a water utility
company or an installation company registered on a
water utility company's installers' list, in accordance
with AVB Wasser V, § 12.2 (German Water Supply
Act).
