(not included in the scope of
delivery) is inserted into the
tool holder (5).
Hammer drilling in
concrete and masonry
(Figures 3B/8) without
additional toothed chuck. To
do this, suitable hammer
drills are inserted into the
tool holder (5).
Setting the working angle
(Figures 3C/8). When using a
flat chase turn the mode
selection switch (8) to the
setting
working angle by turning the
chase. By turning to position
, lock the set chase
position.
Chasing in tiles and
masonry (Figures 3D/8). To
do this, suitable chasing bits
are inserted into the tool
holder (5). The rotating
function of the machine is
deactivated in this mode.
Place the chase up against
the material to be processed.
Switch on the machine and
start with a low hammer
action, increase the hammer
action as required. Do not
use excess pressure on the
material to enable the chase
to develop its full force.
A: Pilot drilling without hammer
action, e. g. plaster, aerated
concrete, metal; drilling with
conventional drills connected via
a conventional toothed chuck
and set a suitable
with adapter for tool holders of
the SDS-plus system.
B: Hammer drilling into concrete,
stonework and masonry
(Figure 6)
C: Chasing without rotation function
in brickwork or for removing tiles
(Figure 7).
CAUTION! Never operate
the tool with the rotation
function active and a
chase bit inserted!
The required hammer action for
hammer drilling in stone is
generated by a pneumatic hammer.
This electro pneumatic principle
creates a high blow elasticity and
ensures backlash free operation.
Unlike other types of hammer drill,
the drilling performance is not
dependant on the pressure.
CAUTION! Greater
pressure does not
increase performance!
Working above your head
When carrying out work above your
head, fit the dust collector (11) to
the drill in accordance with Figure 5.
10 – Maintenance and
environmental
protection
CAUTION! Unplug from
the power source!
