• Screwing in screws:
Set the clockwise/counter-
clockwise switch (4) to clockwise
rotation.
• Removing screws:
Set clockwise/counter-clockwise
switch (4) to counter-clockwise
rotation.
• Safety position:
Switch centre position; in this
slide switch position, the machine
cannot be operated, e.g. such as
during breaks, bit or drill bit
changes.
CAUTION! Danger of stripping
due to screwing that is too
deep. Observe screwing operation
and, if necessary, stop a bit sooner
and tighten the screw by hand with
a screwdriver. Carry out test
screwing!
11 – After use
• Release the on/off switch to
switch the machine off.
• Set the clockwise/counter-
clockwise rotation in the centre
position in order to block and
prevent unintentional starting of
the machine.
• Remove the rechargeable battery
as well as the insertion tool before
you clean and store the machine.
• Clean the machine as described
in "Cleaning and maintenance".

Cleaning
CAUTION! Electric shock!
WARNING! Risk of electric
shock!
• Wait until the machine has cooled
down and remove the
rechargeable battery from the
machine.
• Before cleaning the charger,
always pull the plug out.
• Make sure that no water is able to
enter the machine.
• Do not damage the surfaces of
the machine.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic
cleaning tools such as knives,
hard spatulas or similar.
• Use a mild cleaning agent and a
dry or damp, but not dripping wet
cloth. Never use cleaning agents
containing solvents!
• Always keep the ventilation slots
free from dust deposits in order to
prevent the machine from
overheating.
• Dry the machine and attachments
with a soft cloth.
