• Chase and drill bits may be
thrown out of the tool and cause
serious injuries.
• Before starting work, ensure that
chase and drill bits are locked in
the tool holder.
• Check the tool holder regularly for
signs of wear or damage.
• A hammer action tool should only
be started when it is pressed up
against a work piece (wall, ceiling
etc.).
• When you have finished working,
remove from the power supply
and take the chase or drill bit out
of the tool.
• Protect your eyes and those of
any persons in the area from
flying objects and splintering
foreign bodies. Wear a safety
helmet! Set up separating walls!
• Work gloves will protect your
fingers from crushing and grazes.
• Protect your airways from
dangerous dust generated by
drilling. Wear a dust protection
mask.
• Vibrations may cause damage to
your hands/arms: Try to keep the
influence of vibrations as low as
possible.
• Make sure that power cables
always lead away from the rear of
the device.
• Store the tool in such a way that it
cannot be accessed by children.
• Prior to processing materials,
ensure that the tool is set to the
correct switch position for the
work you wish to carry out.
Otherwise you may be at risk of
injury when the tool starts up.
• Avoid allowing the motor to come
to a standstill under load when
drilling or screwing screws.
