6.7.14.1 - Call parameters
• Select "Call parameters" to configure the telephone line (fig. 49) .
• Touch "Priority" and select "First PSTN" if calls are to be made first on the
PSTN line, or "First GSM" if calls to be made first on the GSM line; confirm
with "OK" .
• Select "Number of tries" to set the number of times the calls is to be made
if it is not picked up, after which the next number in the phone book will be
called .
• Select "Delay" to set the time the system will wait if the line is free .
• Press "OK" to save the settings and return to the Telephone Line menu .

6.7.14.2 - PSTN
• The control panel will normally wait for a PSTN dialling tone before making a
call . If the line is disturbed, the control panel may fail to recognise the tone . To
deal with this problem, you can set the control panel to make the call whether
it hears the dialling tone or not . Select "Force" and then "Yes" to confirm .
• Select "Country" to set the telephone line's parameters for the country in
which the control panel is being used .
• Select "Tel. exchange" and then "Yes" to confirm and configure the connec-
tion if the phone line is controlled by a switchboard .
• Select "Parameter", set the outside call prefix (0 . .9) and confirm with "OK" .

6.7.15 - GSM (available on control panels with GSM module,
HSCU2GC and HSCU2GW)
6.7.15.1 - Validity
Enables you to enter the validity of the SIM card and enable SMS's transmis-
sion (see table 4) to notify the user that the expiry date is imminent .
01. Select "SIM validity" .
02. In the next page, touch "Enable" and select "YES"; then confirm with
"OK" .
03. Touch "Validity" and enter how many months the SIM is still valid for . Con-
firm with "OK" .
6.7.15.2 - Management
If using a rechargeable SIM card, you can enable a function which periodically
checks how much credit is still available .
The SMS received from the operator will be forwarded to the selected numbers
in the phone book .
01. Select "Credit" .
02. Touch "Enable" and "YES" to activate periodic credit checks .
03. Select "Cadence" and specify the interval in days between credit checks
(the factory setting is 60 days) .
04. Select "Operator number" and enter the number to dial for the credit
check .
05. Select "SMS text" and enter the message used to request a credit report .
Caution – the operator number and SMS text depend on the operator, and will
vary according to the cellular telephony service operator's specifications .
If the credit function is enabled, the user alarms menu will display
diate credit checks . Click on the icon to display the text of the most recent SMS
received from the operator with residual credit information .
6.7.15.3 - IMEI
Displays the Imei code of the on-board GSM module .
01. Select "Imei" to display the code .
02. Press "OK" to return to the settings menu .
6.7.16 - Arming block
This function is always enabled if EN50131 is enabled .
With EN50131 enabled, the touch screen displays the list of faults, alarms and
open fixtures and requires arming to be confirmed . It is not possible to arm the
system with the remote control until all faults have been resolved and fixtures
closed .
With EN50131 disabled, you can choose whether to block and abort arming
when faults and open fixtures are present, or force arming nevertheless .
01. Select "Arming block" .
02. In the next page, select "Yes" to block arming from the touch screen or
remote control when faults or alarms are present or fixtures open . "No" to
force arming when faults or alarms are present or fixtures open .
03. Confirm with "OK" to return to the settings menu .
6.7.17 - Wired inputs
With EN50131 enabled, wired inputs are set as balanced .
With EN50131 disabled, you can choose whether to set all inputs as NC or
balanced .
01. Select "Wired inputs" .
02. Select "BIL" to set all wired inputs to balanced, or "N.C." to set them to
NC .
03. Confirm with "OK" to return to the settings menu .
6.7.18 - SET EN50131
01. Select "SET EN50131"
02. Select "Activate" to set all parameters conforming with EN50131 . The
"Deactivate" setting (default) allows you to use functions and parameters
which are not envisaged or certified by EN50131 .
03. Confirm with "OK" to return to the settings menu .
Caution – If this parameter is set to "Deactivate", the system esclude la nor-
ma EN50131 .
6.7.19 - Firmware version
Displays the control panel's firmware version .
01. Select "Firmware version" to display the version and date of the firmware .
6.7.20 - System reset
Completely resets all control panel settings, including the touch screen keypad
code and the event log . Caution! – this operation cannot be undone, and
means the touch screen has to be reprogrammed onto the control panel .
01. Select "System reset" .
02. In the next page, touch "YES" if you wish to reset all parameters, or "NO"
to abort . Confirm with "OK" .
Before the system resets all parameters, you are prompted to confirm .
