Securing thread ends at the beginning and end of sewing
Overlock stitches can unravel if the threads are not secured at the beginning and
end of sewing. Secure the thread ends.
Securing thread ends with the overlock machine
1) Securing thread ends at the beginning of sewing
1. Pull out chain-off thread produced at the beginning of sewing by 3 to 4 cm.
2. Sew the material by two or three stitches.
3. Lower the needle and raise the presser foot.
4. Stretch the chain-off thread to put it between the presser foot and the material
from the left side.
5. Lower the presser foot and sew the chain-off thread on the material.
* If you do not sew the chain-off thread on the material, produce a longer chain-
off thread at the beginning and end of sewing. Then, make a knot of the chain-
off thread or put the chain-off thread under the seam with a wool needle.
* When stitches cross each other, chain-off thread is automatically secured.
Fijar los extremos de hilos al principio y al final de la costura
Las puntadas de sobrehilado se pueden desenredar si los hilos no están seguros
en el comienzo y final de la costura. Asegure los extremos de los hilos.

neta o poner el hilo de la cadeneta debajo de la costura con una aguja de lana.
* Si las puntadas se cruzan entre sí, el hilo de la cadeneta automáticamente se
asegura.
Fixer les extrémités du fil au début et à la fin de la couture

couture.
Comment sécuriser la couture:
1) En début de couture
1. Tirer sur la chainette produite en début de couture sur 3 à 4cm.
2. Faites 2 ou 3 points de couture sur la matière.
3. Abaisser l'aiguille et lever le pied presseur.
4. Etirer la chainette afin de la placer entre le pied presseur et la matière par le
côté gauche.
5. Abaisser le pied presseur et couser sur la chainette.
* Si vous ne couser pas la chainette, faite une chainette plus longue en début et
fin de couture, puis faites un noeud à chaque extrémité.
* Quand les points s'entrecroisent, la chainette est automatiquement sécurisée.

1) Fili di sicurezza a inizio di cucitura
1. Cucite una catenella di 3-4 cm.
2. Cucite il tessuto con due o tre punti.
3. Abbassate l'ago e alza il piedino.
4. Tendete la catenella e posizionatela tra il piedino e il tessuto dal lato sinistro.
5. Abbassate il piedino e cucite la catenella sul tessuto.
* Se non cucite la catenella al tessuto, cucite una catenella più lunga a inizio e fine
cucitura, quindi annodatela o fatela passare sotto la cucitura con un ago da lana.
* Quando i punti si incrociano, il filo della catenella è automaticamente assicurato.
