4. Trouble-shooting
Explanation
The motor has been overloaded
for a period and the thermal
switch has stopped the motor.
The selected function is
protected. It cannot be
activated.
The belt is not tight enough.
Wrong connection to the power
supply.
One phase lacking.
Fuse at the rear of RotoPol-31/-
35 blown.
Drain hose squeezed.
Drain hose clogged.
Drain hose does not slope
downward.
The water does not drain away.
The swivel for disc cooling is
worn.
Wrong software setting.
Water tap on mains closed.
Built-in water tap closed.
Built-in water tap blocked.
Filter at the water inlet blocked.
Wrong software setting.
Wrong adjustment of water flow
at disc cooling.
Defect in the solenoid valve.
Action
Wait until the motor has cooled
down. When the display returns
to the previous message, the
machine can be re-started.
Check the setting.
Call a Struers service
technician. The belt must be
tightened.
Switch two of the phases.
Check all fuses of local power
supply.
Replace the fuse.
Straighten the hose.
Clean the hose.
Adjust the hose to an even
slope.

Replace the swivel. See

In the meantime the software
setting for disc cooling should
be changed to ALWAYS OFF.
