COLOR GUIDE:1 (RGB parameter
adjustment)
From the COLOR GUIDE:0 screen, pressing the
key calls the COLOR GUIDE:1 screen. Pressing the
EXEC button prints the color guide (color adjustment
simulation) for changing the RGB parameters. The
simulation is based on the picture shown on the
camera; you can actually see what the result of the
adjustment looks like.
The center picture is based on the current values.
Around the center picture, six pictures of different
color adjustments are printed.
Current DARK, LIGHT, and GAMMA
parameter values for reference
The BLUE parameter is changed by
+3 from the current value. The
saturated white part does not
change. The picture becomes
brighter and bluish.
The RED parameter is changed by
-3 from the current value. The
picture becomes darker and the cyan
becomes strong.
The GREEN parameter is changed
by +3 from the current value. The
saturated white part does not
change. The picture becomes
brighter and greenish.
The values given under each picture are their RGB
parameter values. For example, the top left picture in
the figure below has the following values: (RED,
GREEN, BLUE) = (0, 0, +3). To achieve that hue, set
g
the B parameter to +3.
To make further adjustments based on the top left
picture, set the B parameter to +3 and print COLOR
GUIDE:1 again. This time, the center picture is based
on (RED, GREEN, BLUE) = (0, 0, +3), and the
surrounding pictures are the results of the changes with
reference to the center picture.
