5 VIDEO OUT jack (RCA phono)
Connect a video monitor using an optional video cable,
and you can view a picture displayed on the LCD on
the monitor's screen. Depending on the country
(particularly in the area where PAL is the TV
standard), plugging a video cable may disable the
LCD. The signals from the VIDEO OUT jack are for
the convenience of checking the subject. To adjust the
picture quality on the monitor, use the adjustment
features on the monitor side.
6 RELEASE jack (minijack)
Connect an optional remote release.
7 RS-232C jack (minijack) (40)
To use the camera far from the station, connect to the
CAMERA jack of the station using the supplied
connecting cable.
8 DC8.4V IN jack (37)
Connect the supplied AC power adaptor for the AC
power operation of the camera.
9 Lens (f = 12 to 15.6 mm, f-4 to f-4.7)
Auto focus lens with optical zoom.
0 Viewfinder (45)
You can see the subject through the viewfinder and
can shoot a picture without using the LCD monitor.
qa Grip (46)
The camera has a 90-degree rotary grip on the LCD
side.
When the subject is sitting, the camera position has to
be low to keep the lens and the subject's eyes at the
same level. In such a case, rotating the grip on the
LCD side allows you to hold the camera in a natural
posture.
