Connecting the valve system pneumatics
Risk of damage to valves!
Pilot control exhaust air connection R must never be closed
as this may damage the valves. The exhaust air connection
"Vent" in the end plate must not be closed either.
Make sure that the pilot control exhaust air connection R
is open and provided with a silencer where possible.
Connect the exhaust air connection "Vent" to a tube
that exhausts the air outside the wet zone. Alternatively,
if the valve system is mounted in a protected area,
for example in a cabinet, you can also fit a silencer
to the "Vent" exhaust air connection.
All pneumatic connections are located on the underside
of the valve system and are labeled with numbers (see Fig. 7
and Table 3).
The valve system can be separated into several pressure
zones using blanking plugs (see section 8.3 "Creating
separate pressure zones" on page 45).
