Connecting the pneumatics

Note the designations for forward stroke and return stroke:
Air connection on the side
Arrows indicate the slide
movement with pressure
application.

To achieve the permissible speed of 0.8 m/s or the best
performance, you have to throttle the exhaust, for example by
using check-choke valves.
Check-choke valves are mounted as follows:

1 Forward stroke
1. Screw the check-choke valves directly into the compressed air
connections.
2. Connect the compressed air connections of the check-choke
valves (P2 = forward stroke,
P1= return stroke).
The side compressed air ports are closed with locking
screws at the factory.

Mounting the sensor

Only use ST4 series sensors.
O
Always mount the sensor in such a way that the sensor points
to the front plate and the connection cable leads to the back.
NOTICE! For MSC series mini slides with one piston (drive version
1R or 1L) you must attach the sensor on the same side of the slide
as the piston.
1. Insert the sensor into the sensor holder of the mini slide.

2. Tighten the screw with a hexagonal socket-head key.
Tightening torque M : 0.3 Nm

3. Place the sensor cable in the cable slot A or B. Both sensor
cables can be placed in one cable slot above the side air
connections. First place the top sensor cable in cable slot A.
