The valves (9) are protected with valve covers (5) to ensure
protection class IP69K.
The Valve system, CL03/CL03-XL series can be equipped
with up to 16 directional valves. Depending on the configuration,
your valve system may contain different valves and subbases
(3). You can subsequently extend or convert the valve system.
The following valve types can be used for internal or external
pilot air:
2x3/2 directional valves
5/2 directional valves
5/3 directional valves
Information on which valves are permitted for your valve
system can be found under "Technical Data" on page 100
and in the AVENTICS online catalog
(www.aventics.com/pneumatics-catalog).
Each valve has two yellow LEDS that show which solenoids are
activated. The following solenoids are available on the valves:
Solenoid 14 for single solenoid valves,
Solenoid 14 and 12 for double solenoid valves.
There are two windows (5) in the valve covers where the state
of the LEDs (10) can be checked.
With a CL03-XL subbase for parallel control of the valves,
the next subbase will also be controlled at the same time.
It is possible to increase the total number of valve positions
to 18, but the maximum number of controllable solenoids
remains 32.
When programming the control, make sure that
no additional connection pin is required for this.
