A shielded 5-wire cable is used as a fieldbus cable (see DDL
system description). The entire line length can be up to 40 m. A
maximum of 14 participants may be connected.
The address of the bus coupler is set using the S5 rotary switch.
The data rate (baud rate) is set with the S6 DIP switch.
The supply voltages for the electronic circuitry and valve control
are monitored. If they exceed or fall below a set limit, an error
signal will be generated and confirmed with the diagnostic LEDs
and diagnostic information.
Up to 16 solenoids, in any suitable combination of double
solenoid and single solenoid valves, can be connected.

The bus coupler may be damaged if the cover is exposed to
mechanical force, such as a hard blow.

Make sure that the device is protected from blows.

Make sure that the device is well packaged during
transportation.
