Operating Instructions R8/17RF - R40/17RF and R8/17RF+ - R20/17RF+
TouchControl
The TouchControl transmits on the European approved radio frequency of
40mhz. The radio frequency range in a building is typically 25m. It is heavily
dependent on the structural conditions. Thick walls and ceilings or those
strongly reinforced with steel can lead to a reduction in range. If another de-
vice is transmitting in the immediate vicinity at the same time as the
TouchControl, mutual interference can result. If a radio frequency command
cannot be clearly detected, the integrated safety cut-out switch will legiti-
mately prevent malfunctions and stop execution of the command.
Installing the wall transmitter
DOWN
An unfavourably selected installation position can lead to reduced range.
button
Therefore, when the roller shutter drive has been permanently connected to
the interior wiring, check that the TouchControl and drive function perfectly in
the required installation position.
Remove the TouchControl by pulling the lower end out of the wall bracket.
The bracket is fixed to the wall with two screws.
Changing the battery
The batteries supplied must be inserted before use.
Basic functions
The TouchControl has 3 buttons - UP L, DOWN M, the group button - and the
manual/automatic switch. The switching points of the direction keys are lo-
