Unit Description

Biocide dosing
To control one or two cooling towers with one device, two different biocides can be dosed;
to control three cooling towers, you can dose one biocide per cooling tower.
The dosing points are determined by a week timer. For each day of the week, there are
two (with two biocides) or four (with one biocide) dosing points available.
If a dosing point is activated by the weekly timer, then a flag for a biocide (orange LED) is
displayed, the associated output for that biocide is activated and the display shows 'DOS.
Biocide (X)' .
After the set dosing time, the flag for the biocide dosing is reset and the adjustable time
starts (reaction time), during which the desalination remains locked. "Exposure" is
displayed.
Pre-desalination
When a biocide dosing is due, the biocide flag (orange LED) is set again. If at this time the
conductivity value is higher than the desalination threshold value Ws, the desalination is
prioritised and the biocide dosing is locked.
The display shows 'desalination' .
The biocide dosing only starts after desalination is complete.
The display shows 'Dos. Biocide (X)' .
After the set dosing time, the biocide flag (orange LED) is reset and the exposure time
starts.
Application time is shown in the display.
