3. Place the device upright on a stable, fl at and heat-resistant surface.
4. Plug the mains plug into a properly installed, easily accessible mains socket, press
the on / off button and select the highest temperature setting LEINEN (linen).

Storage

• Before you store away the device, allow it to cool down completely and empty the
water reservoir (see the "After Use" section).
• Wind up the mains cable.
8. Press the SELF CLEAN button (1).
9. Allow the water reservoir to run completely empty. Tilt the
device back and forth slightly to allow the water to run out
of all nozzles.
10. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process several times
until no more limescale residues emerge from the nozzles.
11. If you need to, operate the device again for a short time in
order to allow any remaining amounts of water to evapo-
rate.
• Place iron in the storage station and fl ip up the clip (21).
You can now lift up the iron with the storage station.
• To fl ip the clip back down, press the release buttons (26).
• Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-free location which is
out of the reach of children or animals.
