Steam Blast / Vertical Steam-Ironing
CAUTION!
■
For vertical ironing, the item of clothing must hang on an iron with suffi cient clearance
all the way round so that the heat and moisture does not cause any damage.
In addition to conventional steam-ironing, the iron can also emit a strong blast of steam,
e.g. for smoothing stubborn creases or textiles which are hanging up.
1. Make sure that the water reservoir (13) is fi lled (see the "Filling the Water Reservoir"
section).
2. Heat up the device (see the "Ironing" section).
3. Move the steam switch (5) to position
The lower the ironing temperature, the weaker the production of steam and the
longer it takes for more steam to be produced.

The spray function is suitable, for example, for moistening delicate textiles which cannot
be steam-ironed. This function is independent of the steam function and is possible at
any temperature.
The water reservoir must have been fi lled (see the "Filling the Water Reservoir" section).
