Steam Burst
Vertical Steam-Ironing
CAUTION!
❐ Make sure when doing vertical ironing that there is plenty of space around the item
of clothing which is to be ironed. You may only perform vertical ironing if the item of
clothing is hanging on a hanger and cannot come into contact with other garments,
objects, people or animals.
•
Vertical steam-ironing is suitable for hanging textiles (jackets, suits, curtains).
•
Hang up the laundry which is to be ironed only in places where heat and moisture
cannot do any damage, e.g. NOT in front of wallpaper.
Spray Function
The spray function is suitable, for example, for moistening delicate textiles which cannot
be steam-ironed. This function is independent of the steam function and is possible at
any temperature.
After Use
1. After use, switch the steam quantity control to
plug socket.
2. Place the device upright on its base and allow it to cool down completely.
•
To smooth down stubborn creases, press the
burst button (4). A strong burst of steam is produced. Then
let go of the button and wait 3 to 5 seconds before you
press the button again.
Note: The lower the temperature which is set, the smaller
quantities of steam the device emits and the longer the
gaps until it produces more steam.
•
Switch the iron to the highest temperature setting.
•
Hold the iron a few centimetres away from the fabric which
is to be ironed (so that delicate fabrics are not damaged),
press the
steam burst button (4) (see the "Steam Burst"
section) and then move the bottom of the iron (18) up and
down on the fabric.
•
Press the
spray button (3) a few times. This will then
spray water through the spray nozzle (19) onto the textiles.
