Cleaning & storage
ATTENTION!
•
The device may still be very hot after use. Allow the device to cool off completely
before you empty the water tank and/or clean and stow the device.
•
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. They could
damage the surface. Do not use metal utensils to remove dirt from the soleplate.
1. Empty the water tank. To do so, remove the water tank, open the water tank cap,
hold it over a sink or similar and turn it upside down. Let the water completely drain
out of the tank.
2. When needed, wipe off the device housing or the holder station with a soft, damp
cloth and dry it with a soft cloth.
3. To remove deposits on the steam nozzles, use cotton swabs soaked in rubbing alco-
hol. Remove the rubbing alcohol completely with a soft, damp cloth. Dry the surface
thoroughly.
4. Once the device has cooled off completely and the water tank is empty, insert the
water tank back in the device and set the device in the holder station.
5. Wrap the water/power cord (6) around the cord winder (7).
6. Fold the carrying handle (12) up until it audibly locks in place. You can now lift the iron
together with the holder station. To fold the carrying handle back in, push the release
button (5) and then fold it down.
7. Wind the mains cord up.
8. Store the device in a clean, dry, frost-free location that is not accessible to children
and animals.
Cleaning the anti-limescale fi lter

anti-limescale fi lter every 2 to 4 weeks.
1. Fill a bowl with cleaning vinegar or similar.
2. Take the anti-limescale fi lter out of the water tank (see chapter "Preparing the anti-li-
mescale fi lter").
3. Let the fi lter soak in the cleaning vinegar for at least 4 hours.
4. Wash the fi lter out thoroughly with tap water.
5. Set the fi lter back in the water tank.
