How to place a load at a certain height
Do not put down a load if the machine is
not on a flat surface.
Approach the load perpendicularly, with the boom
lowered and retracted and the forks in a horizontal
position; stop far enough away from the load to allow
you to raise the boom without being obstructed by the
load (Fig. 75).
Activate the parking brake and shift the gear lever to
neutral (pos. N)
Raise and extend the boom in order to position it above
the bearing support; if necessary, move the machine
forward, slowly and carefully (Fig. 76).
Gradually lower the forks so that the load is in a
horizontal position (Fig. 77).
Deposit the load correctly by gradually lowering and/
or retracting the boom (Fig. 78).
Extend the forks while lifting and shortening the boom
little by little; if there are any obstacles in the way slowly
reverse the machine (Fig. 79).
As soon as possible retract the boom and lower it (Fig.
80).

Comment poser une charge en hauteur
Il est interdit de poser un chargement
lorsque la position de la machine n'est pas
complètement horizontale.
S'approcher perpendiculairement au chargement,
avec le bras baissé et rentré et les fourches
horizontales; s'arrêter à une distance du chargement
qui puisse permettre de lever le bras sans gêner le
chargement (Fig. 75).
Actionner le frein de stationnement et mettre le levier
de la boîte de vitesse au point mort (pos. N)
Lever puis allonger le bras de manière à porter celui-
ci au-dessus de la base d'appui; s'il s'avère nécessaire
de déplacer la machine en avant, agir avec une gran-
de prudence (Fig. 76).
Baisser graduellement les fourches de manière à
porter le chargement en position horizontale (Fig. 77).
Déposer correctement le chargement en baissant et/
ou en réduisant graduellement le bras (Fig. 78).
Dégager les fourches en levant et en raccourcissant
petit à petit le bras; dans le cas d'obstacle quelconque
reculer doucement avec la machine (Fig. 79).
Dès qu'il s'avère possible réduire le bras et le baisser
(Fig. 80).
