Drum stops

The drum stops are pre-mounted and set. When using
continuation stops, these must be removed and re-fitted
with the continuation stops.
Only on machine numbers:
9 131 498 and 9 131 499.

Precision-adjust using stop pin .

Three stops are already pre-set at the following spacings:
a. 22 mm
b. 37 mm
c. 57 mm
The fourth stop can be set wherever chosen and must be
installed. A stop screw is provided.
For 9-spindle 90° interchangeable drilling unit, for
example, set the bench 69.5 mm on the scale and tighten
the screw against the bench profile.
This produces a distance of 37 mm from the edge of
the bench top in relation to the interchangeable drilling
unit's 1st drilling spindle.
Loosen bench top at fixing screw to make setting.

Position both stop pins at the required spacing

(turned).
Photograph shows views of right-hand side.
Now push bench against stop pins and re-fasten.

Note on installation:
Only for use with machine
no. 9 131 48 and 9 131 499!
When used together with continuation stops, remove
the drum stops and re-attach them together with the
continuation stops.
Carry out a trial drilling to check drum-stop spacing,
correcting it if necessary.
Always follow the assembly instructions!
