To operate the system with the remote control
Using the remote control (26) it is possible to choose between auxiliary heating and auxiliary ventilation
modes.
If the distance between the remote control (26) and the aerial is less than 2 metres, the system may overload and
it will not be possible to switch the auxiliary heating or ventilation system on or off.

To check the mode (auxiliary heating or ventilation) using the remote control (26)
• Press the ON and OFF buttons (93 and 92) simultaneously and hold them:
- The control light (94) is red
- The control light (94) is green = auxiliary ventilation mode
The control light (94) will go out when you release the buttons or after 10 seconds.
To set the mode (auxiliary heating or ventilation) using the remote control (26)
• Press the ON and OFF buttons (93 and 92) simultaneously twice:
- When you press the buttons (93 and 92) the first time, the control light (94) will be lit in the colour of the set
mode.
- When you press the buttons (93 and 92) the second time, the control light (94) will change colour
(and therefore the operating mode) and will remain lit until you release the buttons (93 and 92).
If you do not press the ON and OFF buttons (93 and 92) for over 1 second, the setting will be saved.
To set the operating time of the auxiliary heating or ventilation system using the remote control (26)
The operating time of the auxiliary heating or ventilation system can be set in 10 minute stages using the
remote control (26).
The operating time should be set to correspond with your driving time (for example if you have a drive of
30 minutes, the operating time should not exceed 30 minutes).
• Briefly press the ON and OFF buttons (93 and 92) simultaneously three times in sequence:
- The control light (94) will flash to show the set operating time:
1 flash
= operating time 10 minutes
2 flashes
= operating time 20 minutes
3 flashes
= operating time 30 minutes
4 flashes
= operating time 40 minutes
5 flashes
= operating time 50 minutes
6 flashes
= operating time 60 minutes
- Call up the next operating time using the OFF button.
The operating time will be saved if you do not press a button for 10 seconds or as soon as the ON button (90) is
pressed.
• If you press the ON and OFF buttons (93 and 92) simultaneously until the control light goes out, the remote
control (26) default setting (30 minutes) will be set.
To switch on the auxiliary heating or ventilation system using the remote control (26)
Before you leave the car, you must complete the initial settings (see section 3. 1 2. 1 ).
• Hold the remote control (26) with the aerial vertical and press the ON button (93) for longer than 2 seconds.
The auxiliary heating or ventilation system is now switched on and will continue to operate for the duration of the
operating time. After this the auxiliary heating or ventilation system will be switched off automatically.
To switch off the auxiliary heating or ventilation system before the end of the operating time using the
remote control (26)
• Hold the remote control (26) with the aerial vertical and press the OFF button (92) for longer than 2 seconds.
The auxiliary heating or ventilation system is now switched off.
