Notes
Refer to the safety instructions in section 1.
The installation work is based on the general workshop information. All work not described therein is
described in detail in sections 2 and 3.

Clean the windscreen in the area where the aerial is to be affixed. When affixing the aerial, the windscreen
should be at a temperature of at least 20°C.
The aerial must not be affixed in an area where it may interfere with the driver's vision.
To avoid problems with the ITS head airbag, the aerial cable must be secured to the factory fitted
cables using cable ties.

Install/connect the auxiliary heating system,
see section 3.3.
Connection diagram:
- Auxiliary heating system wiring harness (1),
see section 3.2.
Affix the aerial (2) to the windscreen at a distance
a = max. 25 mm from the windscreen frame.
Lay the aerial cable under the roof liner to the A pillar
and along the A pillar to the left-hand footwell,
see section 3.4.
Secure the receiver (3) on the cover of under the glove
box, connect the cable on the aerial (2) and branch
A14 on the auxiliary heating system wiring harness to
the receiver (3), see section 3.4.
Secure the time switch (4) to the trim (54) and
connect it to the auxiliary heating system wiring
harness, see section 3.5.
Install the fuel supply (5), connect it with the hose clip
(6) and lay it downwards along the recess in the fuel
tank, see section 3.6.
