A rubber grommet must be inserted in the passage hole into the engine compartment. On cars with
DSC the hole for the rubber grommet is covered by the DSC holder, in which case the hole next to it must be
enlarged.
A fuel hose must be push over the fuel line near the wheel arch to act as a chafing guard.

The temperature sensor for the heated washing jets must be installed, see section 3.7 .
Affix the duplicate factory sticker and the sticker that gives details of fitting the relay, the fuse and the
diagnostics connector on the left-hand Macpherson strut tower.

Install the metering pump (7) with a hexagonal screw
M6 x 18 (8). Connect the fuel supply (5) and the fuel
line (9) using the hose clips (10), secure them with the
holders (11) and lay them to the installation site of the
auxiliary heater, see section 3.6.
Install the assembled auxiliary heater (12) with the
holders (13 and 14). Connect the fuel line to the
auxiliary heater (12). Install the passage grommet (15)
and install the front wheel arch trim.
Secure the silencer (16) on the holder (17) on the
auxiliary heater (12).
Connect the exhaust hose (18) to the auxiliary
heater (12) and silencer (16) and thread it through
the passage grommet (15) to the outside.
