c) Tripod
On the bottom, there is a tripod socket (12) with a diameter of 6.35 mm
(1/4") which can be used to mount the device to an optionally available

tripod.

Read the section "d) Setting the measurement reference" on page 51 for
information on setting the measurement reference.
d) Setting the measurement reference
• As per the factory default setting, measurement are taken beginning
from the back of the device.
• Push the button
following measurement references are available:
Factory default setting
Zero point: Back of the device
The device length is included in the measurement.
Zero point: Front of the device
Zero point: Tripod socket (12) on the bottom.
To switch, push and hold button for approx. 1 second.
• The device gives off a corresponding audible signal when you switch
the zero point.
• When you turn the device back on, the device returns to the factory
default setting (zero point: back of the device).
