13. Maintenance and operational instructions

Battery replacement

If "BAT LO" appears in the display, an operating
time of a few hours remains, depending on the op-
erating mode.
Open the battery cover on the front side of the de-
vice. Remove the spent battery and replace it with a
new one. Use exclusively 9V PP3 batteries. Do not use recharge-
able batteries!
Please be sure to observe the correct polarity when inserting
the battery and use exclusively high quality batteries.
Do not throw used batteries into the domestic waste or into a fire
or water, but dispose of them correctly in accordance with applicable
legal regulations.
Care
Clean the device if necessary with a moist, soft, lint-free cloth. Take
care that no moisture enters the casing. Do not use sprays, solvents,
cleaning agents containing alcohol or scouring agents; use only
clean water to moisten the cloth.
