Measuring the moisture content of building materials
To perform the measurement, the following work steps
must be carried out:
1. Switch on the device and wait until the calibration procedure
is completed.
2. Activate the measurement method by setting the sensor mode
to "Mode 100" (building material moisture measurement).
3. Coupling to the material to be measured
If possible, insert the measuring spikes several millimetres
into the measured material.
Caution: Do not use force.

4. Reading the measured value
The current measured value is shown in the upper display
with no unit of measurement. For better clarity, the user can
mark this display value with the digit unit (digital number
value). Values from 15 to 100 can be displayed. If the
measured value exceeds 100 units, "100.0" will flash in the
display. When measuring building material moisture, no units
will be shown in the lower display.
5. Determination of comparative values
The comparative value for the measured value can be
obtained from the diagram shown in chapter 11.
