for wooden materials.
Quantitative statements regarding the moisture content of
mineral materials are only possible with the aid of the Darr or CM
methods.
However, if qualitative statements regarding the moisture
content of the building material are sufficient, then the less time-
consuming resistance method should be used.

9. Handling instructions
• Never hammer the measuring device into the material
being measured with force!
• Use exclusively the original measuring spikes supplied with
the device! Other measuring spikes may bend or indirectly
damage the fittings on the measuring device due to incorrect
length which could lead to excessive bending moments.
• The device's measuring spikes are held and screwed on with
the aid of special cap nuts. A small amount of play inside
the nuts is desirable. In order to avoid load peaks, it is
possible that the spikes may work loose after a few
