Potato gratin
Ingredients:
375 g
45 ml
45 ml
as needed
40 g
If needed, grease for the pan
Preparation:
1. Cut the potatoes into wafer-thin slices.
2. Mix the milk and cream in a bowl; add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
3. Coat the potato slices in the milk mixture.
4. Grease the bread baking basket well.
5. Put the potato slices in the bread baking basket and pour the rest of the cream
mixture over the potatoes.
6. Spread the cheese evenly over the potatoes.
7. Place the bread baking basket in the basket insert and put it in the tray.
8. Place the tray in the main unit.
9. Set the cooking temperature to approx. 200 °C.
10. Set the timer to approx. 15 minutes.
11. The gratin is done once it has browned nicely and the potatoes are cooked.
Tips:
– serve the potato gratin in squares with fi sh or a roast
– substitute some of the potatoes with your favourite vegetables e. g.
kohlrabi, carrots or zucchini
– use Gouda or mozzarella for a milder fl avour
– add diced ham or similar
