CONNECTION TO THE
HEATING SYSTEM
CAUTION
OBSERVERA
The heating system reaches a high temperature
when running. The heating pipes should be insu-
ATTENTION
lated or built in to prevent the driver or passenger
from getting in contact with them during operation
VOORZICHTIG
of the RV.
The LP Gas boiler's connection pipe to the heating
system is located on the side of the boiler. The red mark-
ing is for outgoing flow pipe (D 21) and the blue marking
is for incoming return pipe (D 22). Use the assembly set
with automatic bleeder and automatic circulation stop for
mounting on the boiler. Connect the out- going pipe with
the rubber T pipe (D 23). The draining hose (D 27) from
the bleeder shall go out through the floor of the vehicle.
The hose shall be cut obliquely at a 30° angle from the
direction of travel.
NOTICE
If circulation pump (D 25) is fitted, it must be con-
nected on the return pipe. The rubber connections
must be secured with band clips.
CAUTION
OBSERVERA
Copper pipes, joints or water storage tanks should
not be used in the heating system. Aluminum pipes
ATTENTION
alone are allowed. Do not mix different metals,
because this can cause serious corrosion damage.
VOORZICHTIG
CONNECTION TO THE FRESH-WATER
SYSTEM
The boiler must be connected to the vehicle's fresh water
system in order to function. The fresh water connections
are on the side of the boiler. The blue marking indicates
incoming cold fresh water and the red marking indicates
outgoing hot water.
DANGER
HOT WATER HAZARD
FARA
Hot water at temperatures above 125°F (51 ºC) can
cause serious scalding injuries and in extreme
DANGER
cases even death.
GEFAHR
The boiler can deliver hot water at a temperature up
to 185°F (85°C).
FARE
– For safe operation, use a mixing valve set at
VAARA
temperature no higher than 125°F (51°C).
PELIGRO

OBSERVERA
GEVAAR
The safety/drain valve must not be mounted higher
than the hose connection.

EXTERNAL SAFETY VALVE WITH
BUILT-IN DRAIN
Alde Article No. 3010 431 Safety/Drain valve (see Figure
D 24) shall be mounted on the cold water hose into the
heater. Drill a Ø 3/4 inch (16 mm) hole in the floor for the
drain hose, and then screw down the safety/drain valve
into the floor. Mount the hose connection (See Figure
D 26) on the incoming nipple. Connect the safety/drain
valve to the hose connection.
NOTICE
Only use genuine Alde valves.
Mount the angle connection with built-in bleed valve on
outgoing connection (See Figure D 28). This shall be
mounted in the same way as the hose connection. Mount
the bleed hose (Figure D 28) on the valve's hose sleeve,
and then pull the hose out through the floor. The hose
shall be cut obliquely at a 30° angle from the direction of
travel under the vehicle. The hose must not be blocked.
CONNECTING THE LP GAS
NOTICE
Current national regulations must be adhered to
when installing LP gas.
Remove the protective cap from the gas pipe on the
boiler (F 29). Make the LP Gas installation to the boiler
with a 3/8 inch flare connection. When laying the pipe,
remember that the boiler has to be dismounted for ser-
vice. The boiler should be connected to an LP gas cyl-
inder with type-approved pressure reducing valve and a
pressure of 30 mbar.
