INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BOILER

These instructions explain the installation and assembly of
the boiler and expansion tank. Read these instructions care-
fully before installation of the boiler.

To avoid possible injury or damage to the heating

These instructions are approved for The Alde Compact
3010 boiler fitted in recreational vehicles.
Installation and repairs may only be carried out by a pro-
fessional. This boiler must be installed in accordance with
local codes if any; if not, follow ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 or
CAN/CSA B149.1, Natural Gas and Propane Installation
Code, as applicable.

The boiler is also for closet installation, minimum
measurment for the space is 25.5 x 17 inches (650x440mm),
height 12.6 inches (320mm) and must be ventilated with a

ATTENTION
from sharp edges during installation.
VOORZICHTIG
The boiler can be located in a wardrobe or storage space,
but can also be located under the floor of the vehicle. If
located outside the vehicle, the boiler should be built into
an enclosed space so that it is protected against splash-
ing of water, exhaust gases, etc. In choosing the location,
allow space for dismantling the service hatch (Figure A 1)
and for replacing components during service.
NOTICE
The data plate on the boiler must be legible after
installation.
The measurements given in Fig. A are the recommended
minimum measurements for mounting of the boiler.
The space where the boiler is to be assembled must be
ventilated, with a ventilation area of at least 10.85 Sq.
Inches (70 cm2). The boiler shall be screwed down by
8 screws onto the floor through the holes in the fixing
brackets (See Figure A 2).
NOTICE
If the boiler is installed above radiation level, the
system must be provided with a low water cut off
for the heating fluid. The low water cutoff device
shall cut the 12 V DC supply for the boiler,
see wiring diagram page 25.
